Healing Pigments is a collection of cotton leisurewear designed and sewn by Salvija and hand-plant dyed by Brinas Studio. It has been born from a mutual desire to celebrate Her comfort, reveal Her grace, honor Her uniqueness and our tribe.

 In an oversaturated yoga market it is hard to find wear made out of natural materials that lets the skin breathe. Every piece from this comfy collection is hand-dyed with sage and other healing pigments. We hope that healing pigments from pomegranate, logwood, gallnut, and sage together with our love put into making these pieces will soothe your skin, boost your healing process and infuse some extra magic into your everyday.

PREORDER CALL 

This is a one time limited edition. Preorders are possible until March 15th. After that, please allow us 2-3 weeks for the garments to be sewn and hand-dyed. This is an estimate, we will strive to achieve faster delivery.

BRINAS STUDIO

Brinas Studio is a space that exists on the overlap of natural dyeing and conscious creativity. Romana Brina, the owner, and creator of the brand is introducing us to the magical world of fabric dying with all-natural pigments and dyestuff. 

 

Natural dyeing is a slow process, but the end result is worth every moment. Natural pigments are multi pigmented so they offer a depth and vibrancy of color that synthetic dyes cannot compete with. 

 

The majority of the fabric nowadays is dyed with synthetic dyes because of their ease of use and cost efficiency. The synthetic dye industry is one of the top polluters of our world’s water. Heavy metals used to fix the color onto the fabric aren’t biodegradable. They take over 300 years to disintegrate. Nature is offering us such a wide range of rich colors and is offering a truly conscious alternative.

 

Brina and I come from the same region of Slovenia. With this project, we aim to enrich our local artisanal heritage and also include local manufacturers into this project.

COLORS

Brinas Studio keeps a dyeing journal specifying recipes to make sure sample pieces on the pictures are as close to the ones in final production. Still, due to the nature of natural colors, color variations are possible.

MADE TO ORDER

Every piece is made to order. This is important to both brands as it helps to eliminate waste and unnecessary products being made. Because of made to order policy we do not accept returns.

CARE

Natural colors are “living” colors and like all natural change and fade with time. To ensure lasting color wash cold with pH neutral detergent. Wash with similar colors, the first time separately. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure. Aggressive deodorants might react with natural color and change it. Reach out for overdying service if that happens.
